PROJECT BLUE BOOK

Project Blue Book was the code name of the U.S. Air Force’s UFO investigations from 1952 to 1970.
This project was the last publicly known UFO research project led by the U.S. Air Force.
Project Blue Book had two aims, to establish if UFO's were a threat to national security, and to scientifically analyze UFO-related data.
Over 15,000 UFO reports were collected and analyzed by the time the project ended in January 1970.
Evidence exists that some UFO reports bypassed Project Blue Book entirely, and that the U.S. Air Force
continued to collect and study reports of UFO's after the official end of the project.
Officially, these claims are denied by the U.S. Air Force.
